Oxford Medical Glaucoma and Anterior Segment Meeting

THE OXFORD MEDICAL GLAUCOMA (OMG!) 2020

Oxford Glaucoma Meeting 2019

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you all to the second Oxford Glaucoma Medical and Anterior Segment meeting (OMG!). We received immensely warm feedback from last year’s event: hence the concept remains the same! An informal platform for sharing experiences, tips and knowledge to help our patients.

Please do familiarise yourselves with the topics that our esteemed panel will be educating us on: all our speakers are extremely talented and experienced Ophthalmologists, hence do take the opportunity to pick their brains and engage in question asking.

We are extremely privileged to have the Wadham College as the venue and hope you will be able to take in the history and ambience of our wonderful setting: an excellence for optics.

Finally, we have had a small last minute change to the scheduled line-up. It is with great regret that unfortunately Dr Andre’ Mermoud is unable to join us this year. In his place we have organised the following:

– Networking session, welcome to all

– Surgical videos: tips and tricks for senior trainees, welcome to all. I will be discussing some of surgical videos from this year including Artisan lens, vitrectomy, trabeculectomy conjunctiva closure, anterior capsule rescue and phaco chop/chip/flip.
