Sally is a consultant ophthalmic Surgeon at the western eye hospital, imperial NHS trust, specialising in glaucoma (with special interest in Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery), complex cataract and emergency ophthalmology.
She completed her ophthalmic training in the north Thames London deanery, rotating in the prestigious Moorfields and Western Eye hospital’s and has been a consultant for 2 years.
Her interest in education dates to her undergraduate career, taking every opportunity to formally expand her teaching experience. During her training, sally completed an MSC in clinical education and has been a faculty member on many national and international courses. This passion for education has continued into her consultant post, where she now holds the position of college tutor.
Sally has presented on a number of meetings, published in peer reviewed journals and 2 book chapters. She continues to be actively involved in research within her hospital and in larger national trials.
